SUGGESTED ENGLISH READING/WATCHING ORDER

I'm not your dad though so follow your heart!!

1. Books 1-3 (Image Comics Release)
   Can't go wrong with starting here. I love the paneling and loose lineart in these books!! Do keep in mind that the Image Comics releases combine books together, so technically speaking you're getting books 1-6 here.
2. Season 1
   Incredible piece of animation that is more outright in its mature tone than the comics first appear. You can watch this before reading the comics if you want to, but since it is a prequel of sorts to the comic I think it benefits from the extra context.
3. Books 4-6 (Image Comics Release)
   Second (and final) arc of the comics. The writers assume you have seen the show by the time you get to these volumes, and I'm not sure they'd make sense without the added context.
4. Season 2
   Much like the comics assume you watched the show, this assumes you the read the comics (while also retconning a lot of details). Definitely steel yourself before checking this season out! Some brutal scenes within these 6 episodes.
5. (OPTIONAL) Lastfight and Soir de Match
   Lastfight is actually how I discovered this series, and it still holds a special place in my heart. It's not vital to understanding anything and is more of a poorly optimized oddity than anything else.
   Soir de Match is a more complicated entry...to be honest the villain is straight up a racist caricature so I can't reccommend it in good faith. I love Crystal, but you don't really gain much more understanding of her character beyond what you see in Lastfight here.
